Asked to describe her role within the company, Amy Kendall says she’s an enabler—for clients, candidates and colleagues. “I’m here to help people reach their goals. I know I’ve done my job when people have that ‘mission accomplished’ feeling.” Before joining altisHR, she headed up a national service delivery team in the staffing industry. She says that in all her experience, she’s never felt a greater sense of common purpose with a team than she does at altis. “It hit me when I first walked through the doors. Everyone shares the same core values here.” Amy observes that having the fundamentals in common makes it possible to appreciate—and get the most out of—the diversity of the team. “Each person has different experiences and expertise and we’re always learning from one another.”

Amy studied business and psychology at the University of Windsor, and Marketing and Management at St. Clair College. She’s been a proud Torontonian her whole life but says some of her most treasured memories come from escapes from the city to her family cottage.
